BWX Technologies (BWXT) said late Tuesday that the US Department of Energy selected its subsidiary Nuclear Fuel Services as one of the successful bidders for High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium deconversion services.
The company said this is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to support the civil advanced reactor marketplace, with a minimum ordering guarantee of $2 million. The Energy Department will solicit future orders from these successful bidders.
