Top Glove (SGX:BVA, KLSE:TOPGLOV) reduced its loss attributable to owners to 3.6 million ringgit in the quarter ended Aug. 31 from an attributable loss of 461.7 million ringgit in the year-ago period, a filing with the Singapore Exchange said on Thursday.
Loss per share came in at 0.0004 ringgit from 0.0576 ringgit in the comparable period.
The company booked a revenue of 835.3 million ringgit compared to 476.1 million ringgit in the year-ago period. The increased revenue was driven by enhanced operational efficiency and land disposal gains.
Shares of the gloves and other equipment manufacturer were down nearly 2% in recent trading.
