Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank (HKG:3618, SHA:601077) elected its president Sui Jun to perform the duties of the chairman following the resignation of the bank's now-former chairman, Xie Wenhui, effective from Wednesday, a same-day filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Xie Wenhui resigned due to job transfer and Sui Jun will act as the chairman until a new chairman is elected.
The bank's shares were up nearly 7% on Wednesday's close.
