Zijin Mining Group (HKG:2899, SHA:601899) recorded a net profit attributable to owners of 8.31 billion yuan for the third quarter, 49.75% higher compared with last year.

Earnings per share stood at 0.343 yuan for the reporting period, 53.81% higher than last year, with operating income at the mining company increasing 7.11% to 80.0 billion yuan for the reporting period.

The mining company's shares closed nearly 4% higher on Friday.
