0732 GMT - China's retail sales could post stronger growth momentum in October due to stimulus policies announced in late September and an expected boost from a shopping festival, Jefferies analysts say in a note. "Feel-good effects" from a stronger stock market and the stimulus measures announced so far have helped bolster consumer demand, but upcoming fiscal support from could disappoint on the consumption front, they note. Companies with already weak distribution channels would feel the impact of underwhelming fiscal stimulus the most. Jefferies sees liquor brand Wuliangye Yibin and appliance maker Gree Electric Appliances as most vulnerable, preferring Moutai and Midea respectively. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
