Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL) hit gold mineralization from a recent drill program conducted at the New England granite prospect in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The 12-hole, 2,400-meter program yielded up to 1.2 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 96 meters, including 5 meters at 3.2 g/t gold, the miner said in the filing.
Shares of Yandal Resources surged 100% in recent Monday trade and earlier reached their highest since April 2022.
