Aurora Optoelectronics (SHA:600666) appointed its general manager, Zhu Sangao, as chairman, according to a Shanghai Stock Exchange filing on Monday.
Zhu takes over from Fu Yuchun, who resigned due to personal reasons. Fu will to continue to serve the company as a director after the resignation.
Luo Xiaofeng, a former executive president for a branch of ZTE (HKG:0763, SHE:000063), was named as Zhu's successor for the general manager post, the Chinese fiber optic product manufacturer said.
Shares of the company jumped more than 6% in recent trade.
