Cathay Pacific's (HKG:0293) passenger count rose 18% to 1.8 million passengers in September, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.

Passenger capacity increased 22% during the month to 9.6 million available seat-kilometers, the filing said.

Cargo carried rose by 11% to 133,079 tonnes during the month while cargo capacity jumped 9.3% to 1.2 million available cargo-tonne kilometers, the filing said.
