ENRG Elements Ltd (ASX:EEL) has picked up a suite of strong grades – including up to 58,805 parts per million triuranium octoxide (U3O8) – from a trenching program at its Agadez uranium project in Niger.
The program concentrated on the Takardeit uranium resource within the project, and confirmed it to have high-grade mineralisation in a braided and nested channel system, with other assays including 46,805 ppm and 41,902 ppm U3O8.
Additionally, 19 out of 106 samples brought back values of more than 10,000 U3O8, with 73 going beyond 500 ppm.
The trenching work supports EEL’s geological model for Agadez and its drill targeting for future work, with exploration drilling to kick off in the second half of 2025.
Permits for the project were recently renewed, and are valid until October 2027.
Managing director Caroline Keats said
“Teh results generated from this trenching program are exceptional and highlight a number of potential follow up drill targets, as well as validating the company’s confidence in the project’s geology,” she said.
EEL shares have been trading at 0.3 cents.
