Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Start Week Lower in Monday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts opened the week lower Monday morning, declining 0.71% to 2,097.21 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by mobile app developer Cheetah Mobile (CMCM) and pet-focused platform Boqii (BQ), which climbed 14% and 12%, respectively. Fintech firm Pintec Technology (PT) was up 3.8% and consumer lending firm LexinFintech (LX) added 2.4%.

The decliners from North Asia were led by education company 17 Education & Technology Group (YQ) and used car e-commerce platform Uxin (UXIN), which fell 12% and 7.4%, respectively. They were followed by ad agency iClick Interactive Asia Group (ICLK) and education company Four Seasons Education (FEDU), which dropped 4.3% and 4.1%, respectively.

From South Asia, the lone gainer was telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which rose 1.2%.

The decliners from South Asia were led by IT firm Infosys (INFY) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which lost 1.4% and 1%, respectively. They were followed by telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which were off 0.7% and 0.6%, respectively.
