Empire Resources (ASX:ERL) completed a 31-hole 1,488-meter air core drill program at the Yuinmery copper-gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The program tested three copper-gold prospects and one gold target with results anticipated in about four weeks, the filing said.

Shares of Empire Resources surged 33% in recent Monday trade.
