Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank (HKG:3618, SHA:601077) booked a net profit attributable to shareholders of 2.95 billion yuan for the third quarter of the year, edging 0.7% lower than a year earlier.

Earnings per share came in at 0.25 yuan, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Tuesday

The Chinese lender earned an operating income of 6.84 billion yuan, down 2.7% from the prior year, the filing said.

The company's Shanghai shares fell more than 2% in recent trade.
