The German chemicals giant posted higher 3Q earnings that came below company-compiled and Jefferies's consensus, they say. Its earnings were driven by its core units, whereas its agricultural and surface-tech businesses lagged and fell short of company-compiled and Jefferies's consensus, the analysts say.
