China Communications Construction (HKG:1800, SHA:601800) recorded a net profit attributable to equity holders of 4.88 billion yuan for the third quarter of the year, 0.65% lower than the corresponding period last year, a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.

Earnings per share stood at 0.28 yuan for the three months ended Sept. 30.

The engineering and construction company's operating income for the quarter was 179.2 billion yuan, 1.73% lower than a year ago.
