Encompass Health (EHC) reported Q3 adjusted earnings late Monday of $1.03 per diluted share, up from $0.86 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.94.

Net operating revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 increased to $1.35 billion from $1.21 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.33 billion.

For 2024, the company now expects adjusted EPS of $4.19 to $4.33 on revenue of $5.33 billion to $5.38 billion, up from its prior ranges of $3.97 to $4.22 and $5.28 billion to $5.35 billion.

The consensus is for $4.19 and $5.32 billion, respectively.

Shares of Encompass Health were up more than 5% in after-hours trading.
