China Energy Engineering (HKG:3996, SHA:601868) reported a net profit attributable to the shareholders of 822.4 million yuan for the quarter ended Sept. 30, a decrease of 98% compared with the prior-year period, according to a quarterly report filed on Wednesday with the Hong Kong stock exchange.
Earnings per share for the company were 0.02 yuan, compared with a 100% decrease from the year-ago period.
The company's operating revenue was 100.88 billion yuan, an 8.24% increase compared to the previous year period.
