WEB Travel Group (ASX:WEB) received a final class ruling from the Australian Taxation Office on the tax implications of the recent Webjet demerger.

The ruling, effective from Sept. 30, clarifies the tax consequences for shareholders following the separation of WEB Travel Group and Webjet, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Shares of WEB Travel Group declined 33% in recent trade.
