Democratic candidate Kelly Morrison was elected to represent a suburban Minnesota district, a victory that will make her the only obstetrician-gynocologist in Congress to support abortion rights. With most of the vote counted, Morrison had secured 59% of votes compared to her Republican challenger, Tad Jude, who had 41% of the vote. Congress's two OB-GYNs -- Sen.
