Zhejiang Expressway's (HKG:0576) subsidiary Zhajiasu engaged Jiaogong Jinzhu and Jiaogong Underground Construction for the reconstruction and expansion of a section of Nanhu Interchange for 1.97 billion yuan, a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Under the agreement, the contractors will reconstruct, repair, and expand a section SG01 of the Nanhu Interchange to the Zhejiang-Jiangsu Boundary Section of the Zhajiasu Expressway.

The works also include engineering, electromechanical works, traffic safety facilities, and environmental protection aspects.

The duration for the construction period is set at 39 months, with a defect liability period adding another 24 months, and a maintenance period adding 96 months.

The infrastructure company's shares were down over 1% in recent trade.
