Prudential Plc (SGX:K6S, HKG:2378) reported a new business profit of $2.35 billion for the nine months ended Sept. 30, an increase of 10% on actual exchange rate from $2.14 billion in the prior year period, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The insurer's annual premium equivalent sales for the period was $4.64 billion, a 5% increase from $4.42 billion a year ago.
The company expects a profit growth of between 9% and 14% for the fiscal year 2024 at the current trajectory.
