Sen. JD Vance cast his ballot on Tuesday in Cincinnati at a polling place near his home and said he felt confident in the Trump campaign's chances, despite polls showing the candidates remained neck-and-neck in critical battleground states. "You never know until you know, but I feel good about this race," Vance said. "We do expect to win."

The vice presidential candidate was joined by his wife, Usha Chilukuri Vance, and their children. Vance said he and Usha voted for Ohio Republican Bernie Moreno, who is seeking to flip a Democratic-held Senate seat. Vance's Ohio Senate seat would open up if Trump wins the presidency. Asked if he had a view on who should replace him in the Senate, Vance demurred. "I'm way too superstitious to think about those things," he said. "Let's get this election over the finish line." He gathered his family into waiting SUVs, and told reporters: "We'll see you in Florida."
