China Development Bank Financial Leasing (HKG:1606) agreed to purchase certain photovoltaic power generation equipment from China Energy Engineering Group Shaanxi Electric Power Design Institute, a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering (HKG:3996), for 1.84 billion yuan.
The company also agreed to lease the to-be-purchased equipment to Chengde Zhuoyun Information Technology for 204 months, a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The assets to be purchased and leased include certain photovoltaic power generation equipment in Chengde City, Hebei.
The lease includes a lease principal of 1.84 billion yuan and a total lease interest for the lease period of 866 million yuan, both of which will be paid by the lessee on a semi-annual basis. At the end of the lease period, the lessee can purchase the leased assets at a nominal price of 100 yuan.
