New Hope Liuhe (SHE:000876) earned 2.08 billion yuan in revenues from pig sales in October, down 11% from 2.34 billion yuan from the previous year.
Almost 1.3 million pigs were sold for an average of 17.37 yuan per kilogram, compared with nearly 1.5 million pigs sold for 14.91 yuan per kilogram in October 2023, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Shares of the pig breeder rose 2% in recent trade.
