SBS Transit's (SGX:S61) profit after tax rose 1.7% in the third quarter to SG$18.2 million from SG$17.9 million in the year-ago period, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Friday.
EBITDA was down 5.5% year over year to SG$40.1 million from SG$42.3 million, the filing said.
Revenue was up 2.1% to SG$396.1 million from SG$387.8 million, due to higher average fare in public transport services and income arising from increase of digital screens for advertisement.
