Li-S Energy (ASX:LIS) completed its first uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) test flights, with a 12-cell lithium-sulfur battery pack, according to a filing with the Australian bourse.

The flight tests showed the company's lithium-sulfur cells' ability to be integrated into a fixed-wing UAV, flown in a typical flight profile including take-off, ascent, level flight, aerial maneuvers, and safe landing, the Monday filing said.

The company constructed the 6S2P battery pack using twelve 10-ampere-hour lithium-sulfur cells from the third phase production line, according to the filing.

Li-S Energy shares fell nearly 5% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
