The number of financial professionals in Hong Kong saw a net increase of 800 over the past four months to nearly 42,000, Bloomberg News reported.
The figure is the highest since the registration of finance professionals started in 2003, according to Bloomberg.
Citic Securities (HKG:6030, SHA:600030) and Millennium Management added the most number of licensees, the report said.
The development comes as Hong Kong's job market is recovering from the loss of talent, according to Bloomberg.
