Addvalue Technologies (SGX:A31) and space logistics and orbital transportation services company, D-Orbit have entered a partnership through which D-Orbit will utilize the company's Inter-Satellite Data Relay System (IDRS) in its in-orbit demonstration mission.
The mission is part of D-Orbit's Intelligent Networked Node payload family and will deliver infrastructure-as-a-service capabilities to customers in 2025, according to a filing with the Singapore Exchange on Tuesday.
IDRS will be used for software deployment and download of products directly to end users.
The mission will be carried out through the ION Satellite Carrier that has completed 14 missions in the past.
