China Galaxy Securities or CGS (HKG:6881) completed the issue of 4 billion yuan of short-term commercial paper on Monday, a same-day bourse filing said.

The commercial paper carries a 1.9% coupon rate and will fall due in 183 days.

The brokerage and investment bank will use proceeds from the issue to supplement its working capital.

Shares of the firm closed nearly 2% higher on Monday.
