Nick Scali (ASX:NCK) experienced shipment delays for its products at ports after one of its customs and freight forwarding agents entered administration, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The delays add a risk to the company's net profit guidance of AU$30 million to AU$33 million for the first half of fiscal 2025, as per the filing.
The furniture retailer had applied with the Federal Court of Australia to release the products from the contractor via certain undertakings, the filing said. The court order has now been granted.
The company is working to deliver the freights to distribution centers to ensure delivery to customers "as soon as practicable," the filing added.
The company's shares were up almost 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
