SP New Energy (PSE:SPNEC) said its unit Terra Solar Philippines inked the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) deal with China Energy Engineering Group.
The companies will develop the world's largest contiguous solar and battery power plant, according to a Tuesday Philippine bourse filing.
Under the deal, Energy China will handle the project, provide warranty and maintenance, train local teams.
Energy China will also ensure smooth integration into the grid with a Battery Energy Storage System, the filing noted.
