TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) announced an extension of operating hours for the LRT Jabodebek service on weekends, starting Saturday, November 23, 2024. This move aims to cater to increased demand by providing late-night transportation options.
Mahendro Trang Bawono, Public Relations Manager of LRT Jabodebek, explained that there will be also additional 10 trips on weekends, increasing the total number of trips from 260 to 270. This decision is based on a rise in weekend ridership over the past three months.
