Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were moving lower Friday morning, declining 0.33% to 2,035.07 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index, which is still nearly 1% higher for the week.
From North Asia, the gainers were led by online game developer The9 (NCTY) and media company Phoenix New Media (FENG), which rose 3.9% and 3.4% respectively. They were followed by ecommerce fashion platform MOGU (MOGU) and automotive ecommerce platform Cango (CANG), which were up 3.3% and 3.1% respectively.
The decliners from North Asia were led by mobile big data company Aurora Mobile (JG) and internet and data center provider VNET Group (VNET), which tumbled 24% and 16% respectively. They were followed by educational company Four Seasons Education (FEDU) and automotive ecommerce platform TuanChe (TC), which lost 8.1% and 5.6% respectively.
From South Asia, the gainers were led by IT firms Infosys (INFY) and Sify Technologies (SIFY), which increased 2.8% and 2.4% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) and telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI), which rose 1.9% and 0.8% respectively.
