AMTD IDEA Group (SGX:HKB) reported that The Last Dance, produced by its World Media and Entertainment Group, surpassed HK$65 million at the Hong Kong and Macau box office within 11 days of release, according to a Wednesday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The company said the film set nine records, including the highest opening-day box office for a Hong Kong film and the highest single-day box office in 2024 for both Chinese and Western films.
