Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Fall in Tuesday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were moving sharply lower Tuesday morning, falling 0.95% to 2,023.19 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by online game developer The9 (NCTY) and consumer lending firm LexinFintech (LX), which climbed 18.5% and 18.4% higher respectively. They were followed by mobile app developer Cheetah Mobile (CMCM), which rose 6%.

The decliners from North Asia were led by automotive ecommerce platform TuanChe (TC) and fintech firm Pintec Technology (PT), which lost 12% and 9.3% respectively. They were followed by electric vehicle maker NIO (NIO) and internet and data center company VNET Group (VNET), which dropped 6.3% and 4.6% respectively.

From South Asia, the only gainers were IT firm Infosys (INFY) and telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI), which were up 0.9% and 0.3% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which fell 2.1%, followed by tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which were down 1.6% and 1.3% respectively.
