--Natixis Investment Managers is in early-stage talks with Italian insurer Assicurazioni Generali about a potential tie-up, The Financial Times reports, citing several people familiar with the matter.
--Terms haven't been agreed and it is uncertain whether the talks will lead to a deal between the French asset management company and Generali, according to FT.
--Groupe BPCE, the majority owner of Natixis, declined to comment to the Financial Times. Generali declined to a request for comment by Dow Jones Newswires.
