Dalian BIO-CHEM (SHA:603360) intends to invest 10 million yuan to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary tentatively named Dalian Baiao Semiconductor Technology.
The company said the investment in the semiconductor industry will help it achieve its development needs, optimize structure and control risks, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Dalian BIO-CHEM manufactures agricultural chemicals.
