NexPoint Diversified Real Estate Trust (NXDT) has agreed to acquire NexPoint Hospitality Trust, the companies said Monday.
Under the terms, NexPoint Hospitality Trust unitholders will get either $0.36 in cash per unit or NexPoint Diversified shares equal to the quotient of $0.36 divided by the shares' volume weighted average price on the NYSE for the 10 trading days prior to closing, the companies said.
The transaction is expected to be completed in Q1 of 2025, according to the statement.
