ABC chairman Kim Williams has declared his disdain for top-rating US shock jock Joe Rogan, describing his approach as one that “preys on people’s vulnerabilities”, heightens anxiety and treats the public as “plunder”.
In an appearance at the National Press Club in Canberra on Wednesday, Mr Williams delivered a speech calling for greater investment in the ABC, which he said had lost $150 million a year over the past decade.
