Wisdom Education International Holdings (HKG:6068) recorded a profit attributable to owners of 96.4 million yuan for the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, 40.9% lower than 163.1 million yuan logged for the previous fiscal year, a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange said.
Earnings per share stood at 0.04 yuan for the reporting year, as compared with 0.08 yuan recorded for the year-ago period.
The school operator and investment holding company's revenue for this fiscal year was 181.0 million yuan, 43.3% lower than the 319.3 million yuan booked a year ago.
The board recommended and paid a final dividend of 0.05 yuan per share for the reporting period.
