Infratil (NZE:IFT, ASX:IFT) opened an offering of six-year unsecured, unsubordinated, fixed-rate bonds with a minimum interest rate of 6% per annum, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.
It comprises a firm offer of up to NZ$50 million in new bonds to New Zealand resident clients of the joint lead managers, approved financial intermediaries, and other primary market participants. The offer, which opened Thursday, will close on Dec. 3.
The other component is via an exchange offer of up to NZ$100 million in new bonds, the filing said. Under this, all New Zealand resident holders of the IFT260 bonds that will mature on Dec. 15 may exchange their notes for new bonds. The exchange offer will open on Dec. 4 and close on Dec. 10.
The bonds will mature on Dec. 13, 2030, the filing said.
The company's shares were up almost 2% in recent Thursday trade in Australia.
