Pacific Basin Shipping's (HKG:2343) subsidiaries Bayview Shipping and Bridge Bay, each agreed to purchase a Dual-Fuel Methanol newbuilding vessel from Lepta Shipping for $46.5 million, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
The vessel for Bayview Shipping is expected to be delivered by December 2028 and the vessel for Bridge Bay is expected to be delivered between November 2028 and April 2029.
The group plans to fund the purchases with its cash reserves or by way of bank borrowings.
