Roku (ROKU) branded TVs got "a lot of floor space" relative to its licensed TVs across various retailers checked by Wedbush Securities pre- and post-Black Friday this year, the brokerage said Monday.
"Last year, only lower-tier/lower-priced licensed Roku TV sold through well, while this year we saw broad selection, favorable placement, and significantly more sell-through of Roku's branded TVs across most of the retailers we checked," Wedbush analysts, including Alicia Reese, said in a note to clients.
This year's Black Friday saw gaming peripherals rebound further, with Logitech (LOGI), Corsair (CRSR), and Turtle Beach (HEAR) all selling through "well" across various categories, with Turtle Beach being the standout, according to the note.
"Black Friday 2024 in the video game space saw ample inventory of high-end consoles, a large variety of bundle options for the current generation of consoles, good discounts on recently released software, and, finally, a discount on the Nintendo Switch consoles," the analysts said.
Roku shares were up 7.6% in recent trading, while Corsair rose 6.3%. Turtle Beach increased 4.6%.
