Southland Holdings (SLND) said Wednesday that its Oscar Renda Contracting unit had been awarded a $60 million contract to build a new wastewater treatment plant in the Southwest.
The project involves the construction of headworks, an influent pump station, an extended aeration basin, and a variety of other facilities.
The company said the contract will be added to its Q4 backlog.
Shares of the company were up 13% in recent premarket activity.
