Vection Technologies (ASX:VR1) secured a AU$500,000 cybersecurity-focused information and communications technology endpoints contract in the defense sector with a long-term client, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The contract, expected to be recognized in the fiscal second quarter ending December, supports national security intelligence for law enforcement and government agencies, the filing said.
The contract is set to be delivered within the fiscal year, according to the filing.
Shares rose 5% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
