Couchbase said third-quarter revenue rose 13% on higher subscription revenue.
The cloud-database platform posted a loss of 35 cents a share Tuesday, compared with a loss of 34 cents a share a year earlier.
On an adjusted basis, Couchbase reported a loss of 5 cents a share. Total revenue for the quarter was $51.6 million.
Analysts polled by FactSet had forecast an adjusted loss of 8 cents a share and sales of $50.8 million for the quarter.
Subscription revenue for the quarter was $49.3 million, an increase of 12% and annual recurring revenue as of Oct. 31 was $220.3 million, up 17% from a year earlier.
For the fourth quarter, the company expects total revenue between $52.7 million and $53.5 million, while analysts are expecting $54 million. For the full fiscal year, Couchbase expects total revenue of $207.2 million to $208 million.
Couchbase expects fourth-quarter annual recurring revenue of $236.5 million to $239.5 million and expects the same amount for the full fiscal 2025.
