China Industrial Securities International Financial Group (HKG:6058) unit CISI Investment acquired perpetual securities for roughly $10.6 million, a Thursday bourse filing said.
The perpetual securities were bought in the open market between Aug. 16 and Dec. 5, according to the securities broker.
The bonds make up part of a $2 billion issue of perpetual bonds by China Taiping Insurance (HKG:0966) with a 6.40% per annum interest rate.
