Chen Peng took on the role of Bank of Tianjin's (HKG:1578) vice president effective Dec. 9 after his appointment was approved by Tianjin Financial Regulatory Bureau, a Thursday bourse filing said.

Chen, who was previously the lender's chief information officer, was first named vice president in October, subject to the relevant regulatory go-ahead.
