Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) repurchased 870,000 shares on the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Exchange.
The insurer repurchased the shares at an average price per share of about 6.74 pounds sterling and plans to cancel the repurchased shares.
After the cancelation, the company will still have around 2.66 billion shares in issue.
