Satellogic (SATL) is teaming up with Maxar Intelligence to improve its ability to provide the US government with almost near-time monitoring and change detection insights, the companies said Wednesday.

The companies said the tasking, data licensing and distribution agreement specifically gives Maxar exclusive rights to Satellogic data to support national security missions for the US and select international partners.

The companies said Maxar can task Satellogic imagery and apply machine learning models to monitor activity and detect change over various geographies at the same time.
