WISeKey shares jumped another 50.4% in morning trading Monday, after soaring 139% in the previous trading day.
WISeKey International Holding shares soared 139% on Friday after the U.S.-listed tech company said a subsidiary would launch a satellite in partnership with Elon Musk's SpaceX.
The cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and internet of things company said the satellite launch of its subsidiary WISeSat.Space is scheduled for Jan. 14 from the Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
The satellite will carry technology to protect communications from sophisticated quantum computers that are able to solve problems beyond the ability of classical computers.
"This launch represents a leap forward in our mission to secure IoT communications and prepare for a post-quantum future," said Carlos Moreira, Founder and Chief Executive of WISeKey.
